Semi-pro hockey has arrived in oakland

An illustrated hand holding a black flashlight, a pink ball, and a blue face mask, with a black and white fish beneath and a yellow lightning bolt on a purple-bordered background.
A hockey jersey with teal, purple, white, and black colors, featuring team logos and sponsorship patches.

The Oakland Skates name and logo return, reimagined for the ice as a semi-professional “Senior A” hockey team.

The Skates were a 90s roller-hockey team who captured the neon-era energy that made Bay Area hockey cool long before retro trends and social media.
